No Eddie van Blundht by Characteristically_Exuberant

This starts directly after the final scene of Small Potatoes when Mulder visits Eddie van Blundht in prison. A mix of angst and humour. UST and MSR.

They got me hooked on their work.

After finishing “Pip” I wanted to read another of their stories — and I'm so glad I did.

They have a wonderful way of writing them. I loved the angst and the non-communication during my favourite season 4 and the cancer arc.

I also liked that they brought back Ellen and let them have some fun! I smiled right along with them.

I really appreciated how they tackled the controversial handling of the sexual assault by van Blundht. I didn't think much about it when I watched it back in the 90s and I was appalled while rewatching it a few years ago. The way SA is handled is just very tone-deaf. They explained the issues wonderfully through Scully’s words. I found myself nodding along.
