Mulder convinces Scully to join him on a hunt for a cryptid in the dead of a Wyoming winter. Trapped in the cold of a snowstorm, he learns that Scully has been distant for a reason.
What a premiere fic from this writer!
They captured Mulder and Scully beautifully in this phase of their partnership. I like it a lot that their Mulder is a bit more self-reflected and communicative than the Mulder in the show in early season 6. He's the supportive friend again he was in season 4 and early season 5. And Scully being her stubborn self and being fine — spot on!
I'm looking forward to reading more fics from them in the future if they want to keep writing. I certainly hope so! Great work!
